Does color have a different sound? (in Danish)

Why don't young Danes with Turkish-Kurdish, Pakistani or Moroccan background make music themselves, and what kind of music do they listen to?

Starting off with these two questions, the reader is brought on a trip through part of Danish music life and youth culture that are often invisible to the public. We look behind the nice conceptions about the multi cultural music life of Denmark and behind the tendency to look upon 'immigrantness' as the most important aspect in the understanding of this youth group.

The book is based on an active encounter with the youngsters at the places where they come. It includes numerous extracts from interviews where the youngsters express their own experience. Furthermore the writer comments from her trips to the areas from which the immigrants migrated.
